The examination has four sections:
· Section I : Green Building Design & Construction (50 questions)
· Section II : Building Standards & Codes (30 questions)
· Section III : IGBC Resources and Processes (15 questions)
· Section IV : Green Design Strategies & Impacts (15 questions)
The exam would consist of 110 questions in multiple-choice format, with each question carrying one mark. To be successful, the candidates will have to score a minimum of 85 marks.
These are the suggested reading materials are these:
1. LEED India NC detailed reference guide (this is the most important one)
2. ECBC (Energy Conservation Building Code) drafted by Bureau of Energy Efficiency.
3. IGBC Homes Abridged Reference Guide
4. IGBC Factory Building Rating Abridged reference guide
5. LEED India CS Abridged reference guide
Tip: Secure/buy that LEED India NC detailed reference guide and download the rest as abridged versions. Most questions will be from LEED India NC detailed reference guide. The others are just for your knowledge and can be freely downloaded from their respective sites (just google it).
