She observes that while washing our soiled kitchen utensils & plates in sink, we can save much water if you can tweak our washing procedure a little.
Once we accumulate all those soiled plates and utensils in or near the kitchen sink, many of us have this habit of washing it one by one.
i.e applying soap/washing liquid on each plate, wash it under running water, keep in aside and then take the next plate and repeat the process.
And mostly throughout this process, the tap will be on OPEN mode!
Now if you can simple tweak your washing methodology/process a little, you stand to save almost everything: Water, Soap, Time and even your own energy!
1. Once you accumulate all those soiled plates & utensils in your sink, start applying soap on them one by one.
2. Apply soap and keep it aside (preferably in the sink itself so that water can fall on it).
3. Once you are done with your soap-application on all the utensils, then open your tap, set the water flow on a lower (comfortable) speed and start washing it one by one.
That’s it!
Just try it and see what all and how much more you save
As she stresses, this is a win-win for all.
You will save: Water, Soap, Time and even your own energy!
